The Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers don’t often meet on the football field. When they do, of late it’s been mostly bad news for Dallas. The Chargers are 3-1 straight up in the past four games and 4-2 SU through the last six. Will that streak continue? And which players will have the biggest impact in tonight’s Cowboys vs Chargers props?
However, this Week 6 MNF game is going to be only the second meeting between the two clubs in LA. Dallas took at 20-17 verdict in the previous encounter there in 2021.

Cowboys vs Chargers Props #1: Keenan Allen Receiving Yardage
Chargers QB Justin Herbert likes to get his WR involved in the offense, none more so than Keenan Allen. His average of 11 targets per game ranks third in the NFL.
As well, Allen rates among the top 10 in the league in receptions (35, ninth), yards (434, 10th), yards per game (108.5, fourth) and touchdowns (three, sixth). He caught 18 passes two games ago against Minnesota.

Allen’s receiving yardage total for this game is set at 84.5 Take the over on this total in the NFL props. He’s exceeded that number in seven of his past 10 regular-season games.

Cowboys vs Chargers Props #2: Tony Pollard Rushing & Receiving Yardage
Give Tony Pollard the rock. When he gets 20+ carries this season, he always hits the over on his rushing yardage total. The Chargers are allowing 4.1 yards per carry, so Pollard ps to be effective on the ground.
After throwing three interceptions in last week’s 42-10 drubbing at San Francisco, look for Cowboys QB Dak Prescott be more conservative through the air. And that should mean more targets aimed at Pollard out of the backfield. The LA defense is allowing the 11th-most receiving yardage to running backs among NFL defensive units.
Pollard had a season-high eight targets in Week 2 against the Jets and went for 37 receiving yards. Last week he caught four balls for 35 yards. Take the over on Pollard’s combined rushing/receiving yards in your NFL Week 6 player props.
Cowboys vs Chargers Prop Picks: Tony Pollard over 92.5 rushing & receiving yards -115 (1 unit)

Cowboys vs Chargers Props #3: Quentin Johnston Anytime Touchdown
When the Chargers get into the red zone, they’ll be looking to the end zone and with good reason. The Dallas defense is allowing touchdowns on 75% of all opposition red zone possessions this season.
From the Cowboys perspective, they’ll be drawing up a defensive game plan seeking to limit the impact of Chargers RB Austin Ekeler and WR Keenan Allen. Ekeler hasn’t played since Week 1, but was a full practice participant this week coming off of LA’s bye week.
Could be significant news ahead of the #Cowboys matchup tomorrow night.
Palmer is looked as the No. 2 behind Keenan Allen. His absence could mean more snaps for the rookie WR Quentin Johnston. #DallasCowboys https://t.co/ZNHlnLTmWX
— Brandon Loree (@Brandoniswrite) October 15, 2023
Since both of the Chargers top weapons will be in top gear, that should leave rookie WR Quentin Johnston in single coverage. And with WR Michael Williams out for the season and WR Joshua Palmer (groin) also hurting, expect Johnston’s target rate to be increasing. Take Johnston in an anytime TD prop.
Cowboys vs Chargers Prop Picks: Quentin Johnston Anytime Touchdown Scorer +215 (1 unit)
