Atlas take on Toronto FC in the final game of Group N in the 2023 Leagues Cup. The Liga MX side know that a single point will secure their passage to the knockout stages of the competition, while Toronto need to win to keep their faltering season alive.
Los Rojinegros had a decent showing in last season’s Liga MX Clausura, finishing the regular season in 9th and making it to the quarter-finals of the playoffs. They have once again looked solid in their fixtures this season, picking up one win, one draw and one defeat in their opening three games.
In stark contrast the Canada-based side have really struggled in 2023 and sit second-from-bottom in MLS’ Eastern Conference.
