Kelsey Plum is 10-5 against this number on the season including 3-1 in her last four contests. KP is also Plum also averages 18.3 PPG through 15 games this season so simply hitting her average would cash this prop.
Teammate Chelsea Gray returned three games ago and over the last two, in which Gray has seen her minutes and facilitation increase, Plum has dropped 18 and 21 points with the 18 coming against the Connecticut Sun. If Plum can hit 18 against the best scoring defense in the W (72.8 Opp PPG – 1st), she can go over 17.5 against the Mystics (82.6 OPPG – 7th), even on their home court.
This prop is getting juiced with the odds already at -130 but when you consider the implied probability of this prop hitting, these odds should be closer to -200 so there is still value left, especially as a parlay leg. A blowout could be the biggest obstacle to this prop cashing but these Mytics just took the aforementioned Sun to OT after leading late so KP could very well be on the court til the buzzer in this one.
WNBA Pick: Kelsey Plum Over 17.5 Points (-130)

Ezi Magbegor is 10-7 against this number on the season including 3-1 in her last three games. The word appears to be getting out as this line was offering -115 last time out and even money or better the two games before that. The prop is getting juiced with good reason. Magbegor ‘s season shot attempts per game average sits just below 10 at 9.9 and she is 9-4 against this number in games in which she reaches or surpasses that 10-shot mark.
Magbegor correlatively averages 13.5 points on the season which stands to reason with how many of her cashes have come within 1.5 points of the 13.5 number. Of the ten games she has cleared 13.5 points, three have hit 14 on the dot, and three more cleared the mark by just one more point at 15, meaning 60% of her hits have been sweats that came down to the end of her production.
However, this Dallas defense ranks 11th out of 12 teams in terms of Opp. PPG (87.1) besting only the Fever (87.9) in this department. Hopefully, we shouldn’t have to sweat this one out against this sieve of a defense but as long as it cashes: They don’t ask How? They ask How Many?
