NFL Week 3 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)

Last weekend, we added the Packers at +1.5 for Week 2 against the Falcons. They’re now favorites on the road at -1.

That shows you the value you can earn when betting one week ahead.

Here are three bets to consider for Week 3 before Week 2 begins.

New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers

What happens when the Packers beat the brakes off the Falcons on the road in Week 2?

The hype will start to get real for Green Bay.

This would be a solid matchup for the Packers. The Saints have been good as a pass rush. However, the Packers proved they’ve got one of the better offensive lines in football.

On the other hand, the Saints will take on the Panthers. A win against the Panthers in Week 2 wouldn’t move the needle. But a loss to the Panthers certainly would.

I like the Packers at -2 before they get to that -3 line.

Bet: Packers -2 (-110)

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers already knocked off the Vikings. Now they’re 2.5-point favorites at home against the Bears on Sunday.

If the Buccaneers start the season 2-0, it’s hard to imagine they would be a seven-point underdog next Sunday.

After all, the Eagles almost let their first game of the season slip against the New England Patriots.

The Eagles will take on the Vikings on Thursday night. They’re already without Kenneth Gainwell and other stars.

I’d take the Buccaneers at +7 before they fall below that critical number.

Bet: Buccaneers +7 (+100)

Los Angeles Rams vs. Cincinnati Bengals

I don’t think that the Rams will earn a win against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2. But what happens when they stay close? Are we just going to ignore the fact that the Rams dominated Seattle and stayed tight against one of the best teams in football?

On the other hand, the Rams will face a Bengals team that looked horrible in Week 1 against the Browns. That same Bengals team has a more challenging matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2.

The Bengals will figure things out. But that’ll likely happen later in the season.

If the Bengals play another lackluster game against the Ravens and the Rams stay close against the 49ers, the Rams won’t be a 7.5-point favorite on Monday.

The duo of Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell might shine brighter than Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Who would’ve thought that to start the season? But that could be a reality in Week 3. The Rams at least have a pass rush that is a little effective. That could be the difference in this game.

If Matthew Stafford continues to limit turnovers on his end, like in Week 1, the Rams will be a hard out every week.

Bet: Rams +7.5 (-110)
